POL222  American Government  (3 course hours)  

The development of constitutional government in the State and Nation. Surveys the process, structure, functions of American political systems. Special attention is given to State and Federal Constitutions. Meets Illinois Board of Education requirements for teacher certification.

POL495  Pre-Law Practicum II  (1-3 course hours)  

Students are placed in local law offices or court agencies where tasks related to the legal profession are observed and/or performed. The experience requires the production of a written paper.
