Church Music Certificate
Certificate programs in music are designed for students who have already earned a bachelor's degree or the international equivalent. These are non-degree programs; students do not earn a formal award from Judson University. Rather, students are prepared to go into graduate studies in music.
The Church Music Certificate-Cultural Immersion at Judson University is designed for individuals eager to deepen their understanding about worship music and sophisticate performance skills as a worship leader at their church.
Important Notes
- This is a non-degree program; students do not earn a formal award from Judson University. Rather, students are prepared to go into graduate studies in music.

In the absence of a degree, a candidate must demonstrate advanced performance skills and/or extensive teaching experience at the level generally expected of an applicant for graduate study in music performance.

Preparatory Certificate in Church Music Performance (One-Year Plan)
Academic planning is the student's responsibility. This Graduation Plan is designed to be a guide to assist students as they plan their course selections. This is only a suggested schedule, and is not a substitute for a student's Advising Worksheet, nor the Program Requirements in the Judson University Catalog. Actual course selections should be made with the advice and approval of an academic advisor. Students should become familiar with the catalog in effect at the time at which they entered the institution.
A full-time course load for masters students is 9 credit hours. A full-time course load for doctoral students is 6 credit hours. Students may exceed the minimum hours with approval from the department.
