SOC220 Social Problems (3 course hours)
This course examines how culture, social structure and social processes contribute to the problems in the society. Various strategies and interventions used to solve the different social problems in the groups to which adult students belong, are specifically reviewed and evaluated.
SOC296 Sociology Internship I (1-3 course hours)
A supervised experience designed and tailored by the student and the program's coordinator. Requires placement in clinic, agency, residential facility, school or appropriate equivalent.
