Human Services (HSA)

This course explores the ethics and legal standards in the human services field. Students will explore a personal ethical framework and apply it to their professional role in the field. They will also explore legal and ethical issues related to governing an organization.

This course examines how direct services are planned, implemented, funded, and evaluated. Topics covered include program analysis, funding, grant writing, program evaluation, and outcome measurement. Students will gain practical experience designing a program proposal and presenting the program plan to peers.
